Pi, the polar bear

Inspired by a small, but well detailed, toy purchased from a store in Greenland we present the travels of Pi the polar bear. This little fellow has itchy paws and is likely to be smuggled or snuggled to corners far and wide. How do we know this?

Pi, the polar bear, is a media savvy creature, not afraid of the limelight. It has itself photographed wherever the paddlers from the Jersey canoe club venture.

Since returning to Jersey, Pi has already been seen on at least one expedition to Les Ecrehous; a trip to Lihou, off Guernsey (where he suffered an injury, rapidly repaired, no photos yet- still too embarrassed); a mass kayak descent of the Liffey river, in Dublin and a late September trip to Sark in glorious sunshine. See the photos below, [hover over the picture for further detail].

Media sources close to the diminuitve star said

"Pi has plans, but these are only limited by the JCC members. Pi has asked that he be included on any trips, provided that somebody remembers to bring their camera. He was most insistant on that last bit by the way! Someone had asked where his name came from, but he replied, with a small frown, that he was a global traveller, go figure".

Pi is temporarily based near Corbiere, when not out exploring, he spends his time peering out to see the sea. He is concerned that he may begin to feel off colour if he is not invited on trips on a regular basis. While Pi hasn't joined  MSN, Facebook or Twitter we are sure that he will be featuring on this site in the near future.
